Who Height Mode is for
Own-growth mode is designed for people aged 13 to 20. Parent mode supports a child aged 8 to 20. Someone under 13 must use the app with a parent or guardian in child mode. A parent or guardian should be involved wherever local rules require it.
By using the app, you confirm that the information you provide is yours to use and that you have the authority needed for a child profile.
Estimates, not promises
Height Mode provides a heuristic estimated adult-height range with visible uncertainty. It is not an official growth-chart centile calculation, medical device, diagnosis, treatment, or guarantee.
Normal growth varies, inputs can be incomplete or inaccurate, and an app cannot determine final height with certainty. Do not make medical, nutritional, or treatment decisions from an estimate alone.
Healthy routines, not height treatment
Sleep, food, movement, strength, hydration, and posture features support general health and consistent routines. They do not add promised centimetres or inches to an estimate and must not be treated as a way to exceed natural potential.
Height Mode does not promise that a food, workout, posture routine, hormone, medicine, peptide, pill, or supplement will make someone taller. Do not use the app to restrict food, overtrain, or avoid professional care.
Use with real-world support
Speak with a qualified clinician about sudden growth changes, early or delayed puberty, persistent pain, fainting, disordered eating, distress, medicine or supplement use, or any health concern.
Height Mode support is not an emergency or crisis service. In an immediate emergency, tell a trusted adult and contact local emergency services rather than relying on the app or its notifications.
Subscriptions, trials, and cancellation
A trial converts to the selected paid plan unless it is cancelled before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and are billed through the store account used to purchase them.
Deleting Height Mode does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel through App Store subscriptions. Apple handles eligible refund requests under its policies. Restoring purchases checks the store account for an active entitlement and does not restore deleted local profile data.
Local data and device permissions
The current build stores core app history on the device and does not provide a Height Mode account or automatic cloud backup. Removing the app or deleting local data can permanently remove that history.
You can create a local machine-readable backup. Restoring one replaces local profile and routine records but leaves purchases and device permissions separate. Apple controls Health permissions, device eligibility, store billing, and the availability and terms of Apple services.
Respectful and lawful use
Do not use Height Mode to pressure, shame, rank, harass, exploit, or give unsafe medical advice to another person. Do not attempt to disrupt, bypass, scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app, its purchase systems, or its safety controls except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Community profiles, public posting, replies, rankings, and direct messages are not currently available. Preview guides are written by Height Mode and are not real member posts.
Availability and changes
Height Mode may update, add, remove, or temporarily pause features to improve safety, accuracy, platform compatibility, or reliability. Some features depend on compatible Apple hardware, operating-system versions, permissions, or third-party services.
We aim to keep the app available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Keep independent copies of any local data you cannot afford to lose.
Legal status before release
These terms are a plain-language description of the current product boundary. The final legal operator, governing law, consumer-rights wording, liability terms, and jurisdiction-specific provisions must be confirmed before public release.
Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies where Height Mode does not provide a separate approved end user licence agreement.
